Founder-to-Sales Handoff 21 Days

A sales system your next hire can run.

In 21 days, we turn the patterns behind your wins into four practical tools: a deal map, sales playbook, pipeline system and 90-day transfer plan.

Who it is for

  • Founder-led B2B software companies selling to businesses or government
  • Repeat wins still depend on the founder
  • A first or second sales hire joining within 90 days, or recently started

The problem

The deck is easy to share.
The judgment is harder.

You know which buyers are serious, which objections matter and when a deal is ready to move. Your new hire needs that judgment alongside the decks, calls and CRM.

We study the calls, CRM and collateral behind your wins, then make the decisions and patterns explicit. The resulting tools reflect how your company actually sells.

The handoff

Four tools.
One usable sales system.

Your next hire gets a clear answer to four questions: who to pursue, how to sell, when to advance a deal and what to own next. Your company owns every final file.

  1. Winning deal map

Ideal customer, buying triggers, stakeholders, decision path and the patterns behind repeat wins.

  2. Sales playbook

Qualification, discovery, demo, objections, follow-up and the path from first call to close.

  3. Pipeline system

Deal stages, required evidence, forecast language and a practical review rhythm.

  4. 90-day transfer plan

What the hire learns, shadows, leads and owns at 30, 60 and 90 days.

Still hiring? A role profile and candidate scorecard are included.

What ready means

The handoff is complete when the four tools are delivered in editable form, the founder has reviewed them, and the role has a clear first-90-days plan. We walk through how to use the system and agree who owns each next step.

The 21-day handoff

Find the pattern. Build the system. Hand it over.

  1. 01Days 1–7

    Extract

We study the CRM, wins, losses and recorded calls to find the patterns worth transferring.

  2. 02Days 8–17

    Build

On day 12, you review a working version against your real deals. We use your feedback to refine the system before the handoff.

  3. 03Days 18–21

    Transfer

We hand over the complete system, align the founder and hire, and set the first 90 days.

What stays outside

Scope, clearly defined.

  • Recruiting and candidate sourcing
  • Ongoing sales management or interim leadership
  • Outsourced prospecting, closing or customer calls
  • Full CRM implementation

The scope is agreed before work begins. Any additional work is discussed separately.

Working together

A defined finish.

  • ScopeOne buyer, one sales motion, one role
  • Founder timeAbout 4 hours, plus access to calls and CRM
  • Follow-throughOne review of the tools in use within 60 days
  • OwnershipAll final work owned by the client

Before you begin.

Does the engagement include recruiting?
No. If you are still hiring, we include a role profile and candidate scorecard. Your company runs the search.
What if the salesperson has already been hired?
The engagement can support a recent hire. We focus on their live handoff and ramp rather than candidate selection.
How much sales history does the engagement require?
Enough wins, losses and pipeline history to identify a repeatable pattern. Recorded calls are helpful; live calls may be observed with permission when available.
Does Arkenwell participate in live sales calls?
No. Arkenwell may quietly observe up to two live discovery or demo calls, with permission, then debrief privately with the founder. We do not lead, present or speak to the buyer.
Does the engagement include CRM implementation?
No. Arkenwell defines the stages, rules and forecast language, then shows how they should appear in the existing CRM.
What happens after delivery?
The company owns every final file and runs the system. One review of the tools in use within 60 days is included. Any further work is agreed separately.
Can this support public-sector sales?
Yes. Arkenwell can map the buyers, qualification logic, procurement path, stage rules and handoff required for a repeatable public-sector sales motion.
What if the handoff is not ready by day 21?
Arkenwell continues until the agreed handoff is complete and usable, provided source access and feedback arrive on schedule. This commitment covers the tools and handoff, not revenue, hiring outcomes or individual performance.
